9/11 Debris: An Investigation of Ground Zero

Written by Matt Nelson

The video posted on YouTube in 2010 - same title - got some mention on 911blogger at https://911blogger.com/news/2010-12-01/911-debris-investigation-ground-zero-parts-12-ctv911-november-25-2010
with the comment, "This video can be a good 'intro dissemination tool' for getting people to start to put their attention on 9/11 Truth. Pretty amazing phenomena... ...the pulverization of these Towers."

"9/11 Debris, An Investigation of Ground Zero"

Appendix 1 of the new 75,000-word book is Timed text captions for the YouTube video part 1 - with source notes added. Appendix 2 is full of images - maps and photos from 9/11. The book is full of images, really. With hundreds of links to more. Some taken from 2001 newspaper microfilm and put on the web for the first time. (Map: "Moving Debris By Barge," New York Times)

From the 9/11 Debris Introduction: "Thesis: More important than guaranteeing complete 'collapse' of both aging, iconic buildings – and WTC Building 7 – was the requirement of pulverization and incineration. Virtually unidentifiable rubble (and bodies) enabled an amazingly fast 'cleanup' of the site." As has been well documented, it was done cheap and fast, to the surprise of many. What hasn't been well publicized is the conflict between FDNY victims' families - searching for their lost brothers and sons - and the city officials working for Giuliani and the powers that be, who had a job to do. Destruction of evidence.

The chapter "Tonnage" is broken up into several sections not revealed in the table of contents. WTC Debris Weight, Truckloads, The Case of 120 Dumptrucks, and Barges. As the Introduction said, the book began as a mathematical effort to calculate the WTC Complex total weight (which should have equaled the total debris weight after excavation.) It seems every source on the subject - whether on the web or in a library - has been gathered to help determine the debris weight and its ever-changing numbers. More than 450 truckloads a day left the site at the point of highest "production." The final average truckloads per day was 374 (using the end date June 30 which is 31 days after the official closing ceremony when the site was almost clear).

The journey is followed to Fresh Kills Landfill, where FBI and NYPD worked in a place not under the ever-watchful eye of the media. No photographs allowed. Of course there are a few. And they are probably all linked in the book.

The recovery and identification effort - human remains and DNA - is well covered in the book, from the terrible numbers to the heartbreaking human stories. Dozens of video links to exact times in footage clips or documentaries help show the stories instead of just telling them. For example, find the video "Report from Ground Zero" and read numerous quotes from the book by Dennis Smith, on which it's based.

It's astounding how many 9/11 documentaries are quoted and linked. The author's website www.911conspiracy.tv helps to convey his knowledge of the 9/11 images. Some 300 video camera angles are listed there with video links -- and many with locations pinpointed on a map. Find also an extensive TV archive from 9/11 and the days after.

If you follow his blog at 911conspiracy.wordpress.com you have already read some of the book.
