Mission of the 9/11 Truth Action Project

The 9/11 Truth Action Project (9/11 TAP) is a new organization that grew out of the aspirations for grassroots action expressed by several previous 9/11 Truth groups.

9/11 TAP’s mission is to build and mobilize a global grassroots movement to create a groundswell of civic support that achieves transparency and accountability for the crimes of 9/11, justice for its victims, an end to unwarranted wars, and restoration of our civil liberties.

The goal of this new movement is to achieve an independent, comprehensive Congressional investigation, by mobilizing and coordinating the efforts of volunteers across the U.S. and abroad, through local Truth Action Groups coordinated at the state, regional, national and international levels.

The way 9/11 TAP envisions that this will be accomplished is to:

  • Create a groundswell of civic support;
  • Educate the public regarding the events of 9/11, their origins, and their consequences;
  • Promote independent, Truth friendly media;
  • Overcome propaganda, psychological warfare, and intimidation waged against 9/11 transparency and accountability;
  • Support local efforts to achieve a Truth-friendly majority in the U. S. Congress.

On a beautiful fall weekend this past September, volunteers from Maine 9/11 Truth (with some help from their 9/11 friends from Connecticut) once again hosted a table in the Social Responsibility tent at the annual Common Ground Country Fair sponsored by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA). Over 60,000 people attend the fair in Unity, Maine each year, and a good number of them passed by our 9/11 literature table. While most attendees were native residents of Maine, many were from other New England states and some were from distant places outside of New England, including New York. The majority of those who...
Once again, the annual 9/11 Truth Outreach vigil at the Connecticut Veterans Parade allowed the taboo subject of “what happened on 9/11” to be raised in a public forum. A banner, “9/11 Truth, Good for America!” carried by two 9/11 activists, was visible to many spectators before the parade and displayed to over 3,000 marchers in the parade as they slowly marched by. The red, white and blue motif of the “9/11 Truth, Good for America!” banner was developed by Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth. It reminds people that what is good for America is a viable democracy that does not censor discussion about important issues such as...

Locus Amoenus, a New Novel

Written by
The new novel by Victoria N. Alexander, Locus Amoenus, is a delight to read. It weaves an important modern-day tale while following the outline of William Shakespeare's enduring tragedy, Hamlet. The Bard’s tale of Hamlet is a personal and community tragedy placed in a historical period in which the fight over the control of Hamlet’s native country ultimately leads to its subjugation to a foreign country. The characters woven into the Locus Amoenus story are no less tragic than Shakespeare’s, and the reader is left wondering just how the world of Alexander’s characters could have avoided being seduced into a current-day form of...
Every three years, The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has a specialty conference called the Forensic Engineering Congress. This year the Congress was held November 15-18 in Miami and represented an opportunity to reach forensic engineers who understand the issues related to how structures fail, reconstruction of disaster sites, laws of evidence and much more. This year the attendees got an additional educational opportunity not on the Congress’s published program – a Master Class in Ethics and Responsibility by two members of the 9/11 Truth Outreach and Georgia Activist teams. Wayne Coste, PE, and Michael R Smith,...
In January 2011 one of the ASCE Journals (the Journal of Engineering Mechanics) published a paper by Jia-Liang Le and Zdenek Bazant entitled "Why the Observed Motion History of the World Trade Center Towers is Smooth". This paper attempted to calculate the velocity loss of the falling upper section of World Trade Center Building 1 (WTC 1 / North Tower), when it landed on the first intact story, and claimed that this 'jolt' (loss of velocity) would be too small to observe. This conclusion is unsound, as it is based on assumptions about the tower that conflict with information provided in the NIST reports on 9/11 and contains...
At the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 2015 Annual Conference in New York City, six intrepid volunteers raised questions about ASCE's commitment to ethics. The approach we used to raise this issue resulted in no significant push-back from the ASCE memberships toward any of us. Our approach was effective and can be replicated at similar venues when doing outreach to ASCE members or any other organizations in the engineering community. The approach entailed volunteers distributing flyers outside the Marriott Marquis hotel adjacent to Times Square in New York City. The flyers informed ASCE members that there is a...
In our complex modern world, professional societies and their credentialed members are often viewed as one of the most reliable sources of information about issues addressed by their profession. This expectation is bolstered when each professional society publicly adopts codes of ethics that embody the ideals of honesty and integrity with an eye toward the health and safety of the public. Most of these codes of ethics mention fraud only briefly because it is implied that fraud cannot – and will not be – tolerated. The scientific, engineering and academic communities rely on the peer review process to prevent fraud, provide...
